Main Activities/Contents
|

Main activities include dispatching children to programs in each country,holding various programs,training instructors,conducting peace education within the region,and more.Through these activities,we hope that children can recognize the commonality of human beings regardless of race,religion,politics,and economic framework,and we strive to cultivate a spirit of understanding,peace,and love of all races through mutual acceptance of differences in their way of thinking.

After the Second World War,Child Psychologist,Dr.Doris Allen,believed that to keep the catastrophe of war from being repeated and to build a peaceful world,we must begin by educating children,not adults;thus,activities for peace education began.The Japanese Association was established in 1957,and has since established four branches to expand activities throughout the country.
