To create a bridge that connects Fukuoka with the rest of Asia， the AYCC appoints persons with influence in popular youth culture from designated cities across Asia to be Asian Youth Culture Ambassadors， and invites them to Fukuoka. After the ambassadors experience Fukuoka’s own youth culture scene，they promote Fukuoka in their home countries and continue to provide the latest scoop about pop culture to the AYCC via the “asianbeat” website．
