Establishment of Goodwill Exchange Project
Since establishing goodwill ties on November 4, 1992, Fukuoka Prefecture and Jiangsu Province of China have conducted exchanges not only through governments, but through a broader realm such as cultural and sports-related exchanges. Through these exchanges, we strive to deepen friendship and mutual understanding.
Regarding exchanges on a private level, on November 8, 2002, the two parties exchanged Memorandum of Economic Exchange Promotion to commemorate the 10th anniversary of goodwill ties.
Also, in 1996, we began a sports exchange for teen students. Through volleyball or soccer tournaments and homestay experiences, we hope to foster goodwill relations and international human resources.
